I have zero CPU usage issues with GR5 or any other guitar software that I have used. Task Manager will show that as 25%, if you have four cores.
I suspect that when it shows 100% in GR6 it's using 100% of one Core on the CPU. It's nothing but snap, crackle, pop and the occasional just completely shutdown when it hits the red line. I'm seeing the exact same thing on a similar system.
